A personalized approach to recovery, movement, and performance
The right chiropractic care should help you do more than feel better for a day or two. We take the time to understand what is causing your symptoms, what you want to get back to, and how to help you get there. Every visit is one-on-one with your chiropractor and combines hands-on treatment, personalized exercises, and practical advice to help you recover, move better, and stay active.
One-on-one care
Every appointment is spent directly with your chiropractor. Your assessment, treatment, exercises, and progress are managed by the same person from start to finish, ensuring consistent, personalized care.

Nick Bozicevic
I came to Sport Medicine Physiotherapy with a pinched nerve in my neck that was causing pain down into my shoulder and arm. I had never been to a chiropractor before but after a thorough assessment, Dr. Aden explained everything clearly and created a treatment plan that included hands on care and rehab exercises. Within a few weeks my pain was significantly improved and I was able to get back to work and get in the gym pain free. Dr. Aden is knowledgeable, professional and very transparent when it comes to chiropractic care and treatment. I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with neck pain or sports injuries.

Frequently asked questions
What happens during my first appointment?
Your initial appointment includes a detailed history, a physical examination, movement assessment and an explanation of your diagnosis and treatment options. If appropriate, treatment may begin during your first visit.
Is chiropractic care safe?
Chiropractic care is considered a safe and effective treatment option for many musculoskeletal conditions when performed by a regulated healthcare professional.
Do adjustments hurt?
Most patients experience little to no discomfort during an adjustment. Some people may feel mild soreness afterward, similar to what you might experience after exercise
Can I continue exercising during treatment?
In most cases, continuing to exercise during treatment is encouraged, as staying active can support recovery, maintain strength and improve overall function. However, the type, intensity, and volume of exercise may need to be modified depending on the injury, symptoms, and stage of recovery.
Do you accept insurance?
Chiropractic is not covered by OHIP but most extended health benefit plans include chiropractic coverage. Coverage varies by provider, so it’s best to check your individual plan. We offer direct billing to many insurance providers whenever possible
Do I have to take off my clothes?
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily is recommended. Shorts and a T-shirt are helpful for many assessments, but not required. Running shoes are recommended as exercise may be performed.
How many visits will I need?
The number of visits needed varies depending on the individual’s condition, severity of symptoms, goals, lifestyle and how their body responds to treatment. During the initial assessment, we will discuss our findings, provide a recommended treatment plan and explain what you can expect throughout the recovery process.
Our goal is to provide the appropriate amount of care needed to help you achieve your goals while encouraging independence through education, exercise and self-management strategies.
Do you treat children or seniors?
Adolescents, adults and older adults
Do I need a referral?
No. In Ontario, you do not need a referral from your physician to see a chiropractor.
Will I need an X-ray?
Most patients do not require X-rays. A thorough history and physical examination are usually enough to diagnose common musculoskeletal conditions. If X-rays are clinically indicated they can be ordered directly by the chiropractor in Ontario.
